Sewing Challenge for Juliette Dress

This graceful Juliette dress is a cottage-core, Gunne Sax-inspired dream of a dress. An elegant V-neckline is gathered slightly with ties, decorated with a soft lace edge. Short puff sleeves are also finished off with a flounce edge and ruffled lace. Continuing the delicate gathered look, the feminine fitted bodice is highlighted with a curved, gathered bust line giving a vintage-inspired look. The full skirt drapes softly from the waistline, giving way to our first skirt tier. You can decorate it with delicate lace trim, just as we did on the second skirt tier, which featured a wider lace trim than anywhere on the dress. Finished off with a simple double-fold hem, the dress is a pure romantic delight.
