A structured kind of beauty with the boat neckline, cinching elastic waistline, and A-line silhouette. 

Pattern Description

  • Cinched silhouette at the waist with a flared skirt
  • Snatched midriff with two rows of elastic
  • Boat neckline at the Front, V at the Back neckline
  • Shoulder and side stripes
  • Inseam pockets
  • Short skirt length from waist to hem: 48 cm (19”)
  • Long skirt length from waist to hem: 80 cm (311/2 ”)
  • Unlined

Materials Needed

  • 1.8 - 3.1 m (2 - 3 1/2 yd) woven fabric (see chart below)
  • 3 cm x 25 cm (11/4” x 10 3/4”) interfacing, 2 strips
  • 5 mm - 1.5 m (1/8 - 1/4” x 60”) elastic
  • Safety pins

DA Size Chart

  • Measure your Bust, Waist, and Hip circumference to choose your best size. 

When working on a top piece, (top/dress) choose your size pattern based on your Bust measurement.

When working on a bottom piece, choose your size pattern based on your Hip measurement.
